About Armstrong Priestley, Leeds
Armstrong Priestley was established in 1975 when Peter Armstrong and Ronnie Priestley teamed up to install a fire sprinkler system in a small shop in Huddersfield. Noticing a need for good quality fire sprinkler systems, they formed the company a year later out of a single room in Leeds. Armstrong Priestley grew steadily, employing more staff and relocating to larger premises, until the current head office was established in 2006.

About Leeds
Situated at the heart of the City of Leeds Metropolitan Borough, Leeds is the largest city in West Yorkshire. In the 13th century, the city was little more than a small manorial borough. By the 17th and 18th centuries, it had grown into a major wool manufacturer and trade centre. When the Industrial Revolution swept the country, Leeds prospered from the development of other industries, such as iron foundries, engineering works and printing presses.
Visitors of Leeds today will want to see the Victoria Gate shopping centre; a modernised Victorian arcade with a fabulous domed glass roof.
