We are experienced in all sectors of the fire sprinkler industry including Commercial, Education, Residential and Industrial fire sprinkler systems and can provide third party certification for our fire sprinkler systems.

 

Once your fire sprinkler installation is completed we can assist you in its testing and maintenance with our dedicated service department to ensure that your fire sprinkler system is trouble free.

Our in-house design process

We at Armstrong Priestley have our own in-house design department with both LPC and FIRAS fully accredited designers that are able to undertake design to all current standards. With over 40 years’ experience, Armstrong Priestley have accrued a wealth of knowledge unrivalled in our industry, covering all aspects and standards

We have our own on-site fabrication department.

At Armstrong Priestley we are proud to say that we operate our own in-house fabrication facility, enabling us to provide complete consistency from start to finish on every project. Ensuring that the requirements for material and fabrication are managed and controlled to the highest standard.

We operate with over 100 operatives on a weekly basis across the whole of the UK.

We ensure we have the correct skill sets to suit all types of project, from direct client repairs, small works, retail units, industrial building sprinklers and commercial fire sprinklers, factories and warehouses, new build and retrofit. Our site teams have a cross section of skills to ensure whatever type of project we undertake we will always have experienced skilled labour. Our aim is to fulfil our client’s requirements for all types of fire sprinkler installation, on all projects.

Flow Process

Pre-Fab

When the design is complete the design engineer will pass a copy of the completed drawing to the fabrication office with a drawing issue sheet.

Fabrication sheets shall be prepared, listing all the pipe that are required to be fabricated as per drawing.

When the ‘take-off’ is complete the drawings will be copied into the electronic file and also to be sent to site for the installers reference.

The fab sheets will be issued to the shop floor for the operatives to commence fabrication in the order specified by the production manager.

On completion of fabrication and the materials have been quality checked, the pipe will be bundled and stored in racks clearly indicating all the contract details.

When the dispatch date arrives a transport requisition will be produced by the production manager indicating what contract is required to be loaded.
