At Armstrong Priestley we are proud to say that we operate our own in-house fabrication facility, enabling us to provide complete consistency from start to finish on every project.
Ensuring that the requirements for material and fabrication are managed and controlled to the highest standard.
Based in our Leeds head office and established over many years, the fabrication workshop works closely with the project management and installation teams. The ability to respond and adapt to our client requirements is the unique advantage of in-house manufacturing.
Carrying our own extensive stocks of materials not only allows us to control the quality of material, it allows us to react quickly to changes. This ability to adapt to requirements ensures our sites are always serviced with materials and overall, benefits the completion of the finished projects.
Quality control is an essential part of fabrication. This is recognised in our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.
We offer a wide variety of capabilities, from high volume rack and roof project, to large diameter pumphouse project. No project is too big or small.
Our welding department is capable of welding up to 18” diameter tube and is welded to ISO 15614-1 and coded to 9606-1.
Pipework is finished to suit our client requirements, in our on-site spray booth and includes hot dip galvanised or gloss paint finished material.
Once fabrication is complete, we personally deliver materials using our own company vehicles. From pick-up trucks for small works, to an 18-tonne truck with a HIAB offloading facility.
A project is progressed efficiently from start to finish, all in-house and to the highest standard we can provide.

We are dedicated to delivering quality every time and this is reflected in our track record and commitment to Third Party Certification. Armstrong Priestley maintains LPCB Level 4 Certification for commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems and FIRAS Certification for Residential and Domestic fire sprinkler systems. This allows us to certificate all of our work whatever the size or complexity of the project and ensures that our clients only receive the best advice and compliant systems every time.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification covers our Leeds office only. However, our Maidstone, South Shields and Manchester offices all operate in accordance with the same Quality Management System.
