Commercial Fire Sprinklers in Newcastle
Fire safety is important in any sector, but the commercial sector yields the highest demand for fire sprinklers.
Fire sprinklers are an effective solution because of their wide-spread range throughout a building and their unobtrusive nature; installed, as they are, on the ceiling.
Commercial buildings are often large, with open-plan spaces that render fire doors ineffective in a fire prevention strategy. For fire sprinklers to be fitted, a pump and water tank usually need to be installed, except in cases of an OH1 risk level.
Armstrong Priestley sprinkler systems are designed specifically for your building. Whatever the nature of your business, we can design a system type that will protect your product and keep your staff safe.
Buildings that we have outfitted within the commercial sector include office blocks, hotels, fire stations and both food and non-food related production facilities. Our commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems are certified to LPCB Level 4.
Whether your facility is a new-build or requires retro-fitting, we can accommodate your needs with our start-to-finish service.

Newcastle upon Tyne was originally a Roman fort dubbed Pons Aelius (Hadrian’s Bridge). Its position on the River Tyne and its close proximity to the North Sea made it a perfect defence at the end of the Hadrian’s Wall frontier. The modern city gets its name from a castle built by William the Conqueror’s son, Robert Curthose, in 1080. The stone keep that you see today was built in the 12th century to replace the 11th century motte and bailey.
Newcastle can claim fame through the high street bakery name, Greggs; the University of Newcastle; the Great North Run; and Newcastle United Football Club. Gateshead Quayside draws many visitors for its engineering marvels: Tyne Bridge, Robert Stephenson’s High Level Bridge (the first road/rail bridge in the world), the Swing Bridge and the tilting Millennium Bridge.
