Armstrong Priestley offers a variety of service plans to suit your schedule. Servicing is essential for the continued and efficient operation of your new, or indeed old, fire protection installation.

Another way to guarantee that your premises are protected after fire safety systems have been installed is an annual fire risk assessment, which involves the inspection of equipment such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire doors and fire sprinklers. Compliance with fire risk inspections is a legal requirement for commercial businesses according to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Staff should also be adequately trained on the use of fire protection equipment and aware of UK fire safety requirements.

Newcastle Upon Tyne

Newcastle is a city and a metropolitan borough that butts up to the North Sea in North-East England. It began as Pons Aelius, or Hadrian’s Bridge; a Roman fort on the River Tyne at one end of the Hadrian’s Wall frontier.

In 1080, Robert Curthose, son of William the Conqueror, built a castle on the site, which gave Newcastle its name. The 11th century motte and bailey structure was replaced with a stone keep one century later.

Newcastle Gateshead Quayside is famous for its series of impressively engineered bridges, including Tyne Bridge; Robert Stephenson’s High Level Bridge, which was the first road-rail bridge in the world; the Swing Bridge; and the tilting Millenium Bridge.
