Fire protection sprinkler systems are proven to control small blazes and prevent fire spread.
Their effectiveness makes automatic sprinklers the first choice for fire safety in commercial and residential premises worldwide.
Armstrong Priestley sprinkler systems are designed to meet the individual requirements of all types of properties. Each system is bespoke and has fire sprinkler heads that can disperse the appropriate fire-suppressing agent for the environment.
Since the 1970s, we have been providing fire safety services to our clients with residential sprinkler systems for all types and sizes of commercial and industrial sites.
Our friendly team can offer excellent advice about protecting your property from fire.

How do fire sprinkler heads work?
The sprinkler heads contain a glass bulb filled with a heat-sensitive liquid that expands and breaks when the surrounding air exceeds a specific temperature. The bulb acts as a stopper, and when it is smashed, a fire-suppressing agent, often water spray, is dispersed. Only the sprinklers in the area of the fire are activated.
An early suppression fast response fire sprinkler emits water spray at high pressure that is focussed exactly where needed. This sprinkler design ensures that water damage is caused to as small an area as possible while preventing rapid fire spread.

Ensuring fire safety with Armstrong Priestley automatic sprinklers
We offer a full spectrum of services, from assessing the best type of sprinkler system for your home or business premises to installing and maintaining it.
Initial Assessment
We work with clients requiring fire protection systems for existing buildings or new builds that are still in planning.
Our inspection team will advise on a sprinkler system that meets your requirements. Variables may include the size, configuration and use of your premises.
Areas with a heightened fire risk, including kitchens and ‘hot areas’ containing a lot of heat-producing machinery, will need more sprinkler heads than other areas.
We often recommend wet pipe systems for residential sprinkler systems, which store cold water under pressure in a series of pipes.
Dry pipe systems that disperse gas suppressants or pressurised air are more appropriate for commercial and industrial buildings housing assets that could sustain water damage.
