Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of a new automatic fire sprinkler system designed in accordance with the LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations 2015 Incorporating BS EN 12845. Roof level protection designed to High Hazard storage requirements ST1 (Free standing or blocked storage) configuration Category 3 goods with a 10mm/min over 260m² design density.
A mezzanine floor exists within the building covering entire building footprint with manufacturing space beneath, protection in this area designed for a High hazard process 2 occupancy with a 10mm/min over 260m². A further section below the mezzanine is protected using TB209 ESFR protection covering large block storage this design is based upon 12No. ESFR heads operating @ 2.4bar. Office space design to Ordinary Hazard Group 1 5mm/min over 72m² .The system is fed from a new high hazard water supply comprising of water storage tank with diesel & electric fire pumps operating on a duty & standby basis.
