You will be part of a dynamic team which provide solutions for fixed fire suppression systems which not only protect buildings of various uses, but more importantly, protect and save lives.

The role

An individual development plan will be presented to you to enable you to gain the knowledge to be able to accurately price fire sprinkler systems, be confident in reviewing customer specifications and interpret them, identify discrepancies in the information and work with the AP team to allow all departments to excel in delivering projects to programme and on budget.

Customer service, both externally and internally are paramount for Armstrong Priestley, you will also maintain clear communication with your colleagues within the Leeds office and regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and interpret the relevant design standards.
• Collate information and work with other departments within the business to gain the necessary information to provide a compliant and/or acceptable solution to the enquiry.
• Determine project specific requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers/internal purchasing department to accurately estimate the overall cost of a project.
• Work closely with the Sales Managers, Contract Managers and Design engineers.
• Visit customers as required.
• Utilise and keep updated the enquires on our databases.

Experience

• CAD experience is advantageous but not essential.
• A good level of IT skills.
• Must be flexible and enjoy a varied role as you will work within all departments initially.
• Be positive, confident, and friendly.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• GCSEs C or above in English, ICT & Maths.
