An Armstrong Priestley Project at Unipart

The project at roof level incorporated five installation control valve sets, approximately 1,600m of mains pipework, and around 11,500m of range pipework supplying 4,500 sprinklers. Within the pallet racking, fire protection was delivered through 17 installation control valve sets, approximately 1,600m of mains pipework, and 30,000m of range pipework feeding 24,500 in-rack sprinklers. The system will be supported by a robust water supply arrangement consisting of three fire pumps capable of delivering 5,250 litres per minute, backed by two water storage tanks with a combined capacity of 1,124m³ (1,124,000 litres).
