Peter Armstrong and Ronnie Priestley joined forces to install a fire sprinkler system into a small shop in Huddersfield.
Armstrong Priestley was incorporated. The company operated from just one room in a shop in Yeadon, Leeds.
Ronnie Priestley left the company to concentrate on property development.
Armstrong Priestley relocated to bigger premises in a former railway station in Headingley, Leeds.
Hilary Lee joined the company as Company Secretary.
Armstrong Priestley relocated to larger office/workshop premises in Beeston, Leeds.
Anne Marie Cable joined the company as a typist, later to become Financial Director in 2000 and Joint Managing Director in 2016.
Barry Ebbs joined the company as Project Design Engineer, later to become Technical Director in 2009.
Terry Bennett joined the company as Sales Estimator, later to become Commercial Director in 2010.
Steve Brailey joined the company as Operations Manager, later to become Director of Manufacturing & Resources in 2010 and Joint Managing Director in 2016.
Armstrong Priestley open their North East Office in South Shields, later to relocate to larger premises in 2019.
Management Buyout took place and Peter Armstrong was appointed as Company Chairman.
Armstrong Priestley (Holdings) Ltd was formed.
Armstrong Priestley open their Manchester Office.
Founder and Chairman Peter Armstrong retired.
Director and General Office Manager Karen Taylor retired.
