Location: Northeast England (Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham & surrounding areas), with UK wide travel

With continued growth in the Northeast, we’re looking to expand our team with a reliable and hard-working Sprinkler Fitter’s Mate. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced installers on a wide range of sprinkler system projects across commercial, industrial, and retail sites.

Role Overview:
As a Fitter’s Mate, you’ll assist our experienced sprinkler fitters with the installation of fire suppression systems. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone looking to build a long-term career in the fire protection industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on major and small works sites throughout the UK.
  • Support experienced sprinkler system installers on various projects.
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling pipework.
  • Supporting the team with tool and material handling.
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed on-site.
  • Travelling to various sites across the Northeast region.
  • Work across a variety of environments.
  • Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 – 4:30 on site, and travel).

Requirements:

  • Valid and up-to-date CSCS card – essential.
  • IPAF and PASMA cards – desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in fire sprinkler installation or similar trades is preferred, but not essential – full training will be provided.
  • Willingness to learn and work hard.
  • Strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
  • Readiness to work across the UK when required.
