General Maintenance Person / Gardener

We are seeking a reliable, practical, and motivated individual to join our team as a General Maintenance Person / Gardener. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in keeping our site safe, clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across the premises, including basic plumbing, decorating, and general handiwork.
• Maintain the gardens and outdoor areas to a high standard – weeding, pruning, planting, and seasonal upkeep.
• General upkeep, cleaning and tidying of the premises.

Person Specification:

• A practical person with a broad range of DIY and maintenance skills.
• Experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
• A positive attitude, flexible approach, and willingness to get stuck in.
• Basic understanding of health and safety requirements.

Hours and Pay:

• Part-time or flexible working hours available, to be discussed.
• Minimum of 2 days a week.
• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.
